Findlay Napier
Findlay Napier is best known for his work with award winning Celtic group Back of the Moon and more recently for Queen Anne's Revenge; his highly acclaimed song-writing project with Nick Turner.
Percussion powerhouse Paul Jennings- formerly of Croft No.5 and Old Blind Dogs provides the Bar Room Mountaineers with a solid rhythmic foundation. Gillian Frame, the inaugural winner of the Young Scottish Traditional Musician of the Year Award, shares her vocal and fiddling talents while Douglas Millar’s fluid lines are the ivory icing on a piano cake!
Findlay Napier and the Bar Room Mountaineers are a song-focused band taking Scottish traditional material and presenting it in a new suave and sophisticated light. If this band were a cocktail they would be a Manhattan using the finest Scottish single malt.
